The first is the publication of U2: The Complete Encylopedia, coinciding with their recently completed Elevation tour of Europe and just announced autumn dates in the USA and Canada, taking them almost up to the Christmas period.

With 288 pages, in a large format paperback edition, U2: The Complete Encyclopedia is billed as “the book all U2 fans and reference hounds have been waiting for”.

An exhaustive A to Z of U2’s career, including biographies, vinyl, CDs, tapes videos, radio and TV performances, tour programmes, gig lists and more, all heavily illustrated with more than 100 photos, memorabilia, tickets, posters and backstage passes.

The book is currently in the final stages of production, and is scheduled to hit the bookshops at the end of October.

However – we are running a pre-publication offer throughout October. For orders taken through this website before the 1st November 2001 we will deduct £2.99 from the normal selling price of £14.99.

That means you will pay £12.00, plus normal postage and packing.

Another major title will be published in October, Free At Last: The Story of Free and Bad Company, a wild story of Rock and Roll excess from two of the biggest bands from the early seventies. Author Steven Rosen is a respected rock journalist, writing for Rolling Stone, Creem, Musician and Guitar Player and has talked to the major players in the story both in the seventies as well as new recent interviews conducted especially for this book. Packed with anecdotes, inside stories, drink and drugs, excessive behaviour – and some great music.
